Hello everyone,
My brother's reception was a success. Two different cultures working together was quite interesting. I was just disappointed on a slideshow that my cousins and I worked on did not end up working in the hall unfortunately, but luckily the next day, we played it on the big screen in the family room when everyone came over for brunch. I hope that as always, I did a somewhat decent job in being a bridesmaid.
I bet that would've been a very interesting reception. At least it sounds interesting just reading the post. I'm glad your slideshow ended up playing for your family eventually!
ReplyDeleteI'm glad to hear the reception was a success. I was nervous when I had to give the speech at my sisters wedding. I made sure I spoke slow and clear. I'm glad, in the end, the slide show was a success.
ReplyDeleteGreat to hear everything ran smoothly with no major disasters. I think it's really interesting that you were born in India! Then raised in Chicago?! Two VERY different places. Do you still have family in India? If so, do you visit them?

ReplyDeleteI'm glad everything worked out! I really like the slide show idea at weddings. A few of my cousins have done that at theirs, and I think it is such a nice touch. I hope to do that at mine one day.
